We're Bridjett and Kyle, the humans behind Uproot Farming.

Feeling a disconnect from our values in our previous careers as a nurse and engineer, and craving deeper meaning, we found a shared interest in nutrition and sustainable local food systems.

We uprooted our careers and ventured into the world of microgreens. Uproot Farming is our way of sowing the seeds of local, year-round, nutrient-rich produce, while contributing to the health of our community. We're on a mission to serve you the highest quality greens while keeping things local.

Controlled Environment
Our microgreens are grown indoors in a carefully controlled environment to produce the highest quality product and eliminate environmental factors. This also means we can grow fresh produce for you 365 days a year.

Reusable Packaging
Our subscriptions include free reusable packaging to eliminate hundreds of single use plastic containers. This is one of our favorite perks of being local.

No Trucks - Local Delivery
Being located in the community we serve means no cross-country trucks and less food miles.

Grown To Order
We grow to order, reducing food waste and only using the resources we need.

Repurposed Soil
We grow our greens in the highest quality organic soil, then recycle our used soil to be utilized elsewhere in the community.

Keep It Natural
We never use any herbicides or pesticides on our farm.

Vertical Farming
We utilize modern vertical farming to do more in less space.
